MORNING SESSIONS
Building the Robotic Future: Access, Evidence and Execution

These sessions brings together global leaders, platform innovators, and experienced NHS consultants to explore the future of robotic surgery, from next-generation technology and industry direction to international adoption and surgical training. Across keynote talks and high-level panels, the focus is on how robotics can be scaled safely, integrated effectively, and taught sustainably within real-world systems. Whether you’re setting up a service, shaping a fellowship, or influencing national strategy, this is where the future of robotics gets mapped.

Join us for a relaxed Arrival Networking Breakfast, where you can enjoy light refreshments while connecting with fellow attendees before the day’s sessions begin.
This keynote will explore groundbreaking innovations in robotic surgery and offer a glimpse into the future technologies set to revolutionise surgical practice.
This high-level panel brings together heads of industry and leaders from the world’s most advanced surgical robotics companies to explore where the field is heading, and what it means for surgeons. Each company will share its vision for the next decade of robotic surgery: modularity, data integration, affordability, and global scalability.

What does surgical robotics look like beyond the UK, and what can we learn from it? In this global panel, leaders from Europe, the Middle East, and the United States share how they’ve expanded access to robotic surgery, scaled training across health systems, and integrated innovation in environments with very different constraints including conflict zones. From national policy to grassroots change, this session explores how global models of robotic adoption can inform smarter, faster, and more equitable implementation in the UK.

Robotic surgery demands more than technical skill, it requires a clear pathway from training to independent practice and, ultimately, to mentorship. In this session, experienced trainers and recent fellows share how to build sustainable robotic training programmes, transition from learner to leader, and create a culture of excellence and safety in robotic surgery. Expect honest discussion on credentialing, mentorship, access to consoles, and the future of training in an expanding robotic landscape.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS
Intelligent Operating Rooms

These sessions explores the technologies reshaping the surgical environment—from fully integrated, data-rich operating rooms to AI-enhanced robotic systems. With input from global industry leaders, political stakeholders, and surgical innovators, we examine how intelligent platforms, real-time navigation, and smart theatre design are redefining what’s possible in high-performance surgery. Topics include elective recovery, interoperability, workflow optimisation, and the practical role of robotics and AI in meeting both clinical and system-wide demands.

As surgical environments become increasingly complex, the next generation of operating rooms must be intelligent, connected, and adaptable. This session brings together industry leaders and clinical experts to explore the evolution of integrated and hybrid theatres, where imaging, data, and instrumentation converge in real time. Featuring perspectives from industry leaders, the discussion will focus on interoperability, workflow optimisation, and what truly defines a “smart” surgical space.

With the NHS under pressure to deliver high-volume surgery at pace, can robotic platforms be part of the solution, or are they a luxury we can’t afford? This session brings together political leaders, frontline surgical teams, and NHS strategists to explore how robotics fits into elective recovery, workforce planning, and the surgical productivity agenda. From national policy to local delivery, panellists will debate whether robotic surgery can help hit the targets, or risks being sidelined by them.
As robotic platforms become more advanced, artificial intelligence is beginning to enhance not just precision, but perception. This session brings together world-leading experts in computer vision and surgical AI to explore how navigation, image augmentation, and real-time guidance are transforming robotic surgery. From deep learning models to intraoperative decision support, the panel will discuss what’s clinically possible now, what’s on the horizon, and how surgeons should prepare for the intelligent assistance era.
As the show draws to a close, join us for a relaxed reception — a perfect opportunity to wind down, reflect on the day, and connect with fellow attendees.

Tomorrow’s Technology Today

MORNING SESSIONS
Frontline Innovation

These sessions explores the cutting edge of surgical innovation, from the national agenda to the frontlines of clinical technology. We begin with a keynote from NHS England’s innovation lead, on how to create the conditions for new ideas to thrive safely and at scale. We then move into practical discussions on how artificial intelligence is already influencing surgical decision-making, workflow, and patient outcomes, followed by a forward-looking panel on extended reality—from VR and holography to avatars and immersive surgical education. Across these sessions, the question is clear: how do we adopt, lead, and shape the technologies that are reshaping surgery itself?

Join us for a relaxed Arrival Networking Breakfast, where you can enjoy light refreshments while connecting with fellow attendees before the day’s sessions begin.
The NHS is a dynamic healthcare system that fosters surgical innovation at every stage — from startups to scale-ups and system-wide implementation. This keynote will highlight how emerging technologies are set to transform clinical practice across the entire health system.
Artificial intelligence is moving rapidly from concept to clinical utility—but how do we integrate it safely and meaningfully into surgical care? This panel brings together international leaders from surgery, MedTech, and health data to explore where AI is already making a difference, from operating room analytics and workflow optimisation to predictive modelling and decision support. Expect real-world use cases, reflections on system readiness, and a candid look at what AI can (and cannot yet) do for surgeons today.
From immersive training and digital twins to intraoperative holography and virtual collaboration, this panel brings together global pioneers redefining what it means to operate, teach, and connect in the digital age. Hear from surgeons and technologists leading the charge in VR, XR, and avatar-based platforms as they explore how extended reality is transforming education, surgical planning, and the very identity of the modern surgeon. This is the frontier where innovation meets imagination, grounded in evidence, driven by purpose.
AFTERNOON SESSIONS
Commanding the Future: Surgical Leadership in a Changing NHS

As surgery evolves, technologically, organisationally, and politically—the role of the surgical leader is being redefined. This session gathers senior clinical leaders and leadership scholars to examine what it takes to lead effectively in today’s NHS. From managing high-stakes teams to navigating structural change and setting the tone for excellence, the discussion will focus on real-world lessons in influence, resilience, and strategic thinking. Whether building a service, a department, or a legacy, this is leadership beyond the scalpel.

Great surgical care depends not only on technical skill, but on the ability to lead teams, shape systems, and make difficult decisions under pressure. This panel brings together senior consultants and academic leaders to explore the evolving demands of surgical leadership—within the NHS and beyond. From managing multidisciplinary teams and navigating change, to fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, panellists will share lessons from the frontline and the boardroom on what it takes to lead surgery in a complex, modern healthcare environment.
This session brings together surgical innovators harnessing exponential technologies to enhance surgical care. Presentations from pioneering companies will showcase their journeys of adoption and integration within the NHS.
What does it mean to be a surgeon in a digitally enabled world? This panel brings together global thought leaders and frontline innovators to explore how digital tools are reshaping surgical identity, capability, and influence. From data-informed decisions and wearable tech to remote collaboration and surgical avatars, the discussion will examine how digital fluency is becoming a core surgical skill, and what that means for training, leadership, and patient care in the years ahead.

This keynote will explore how emerging technologies are transforming surgical practice — redefining and reimagining the future of surgical care.
